Trendmakers wàs Arrakis For more than 49 years the Desomer family has run a hairdressing salon in the Alfons Pieterslaan in Ostend, Belgium. The evolution in fashion and economy has of course greatly influenced the look and feel of the salon. The most recent step in this evolution has been the namechange and the move to our own property in the Permeke Shopping (only a few houses further down the street than the original adress : so now we´re on the Alfons Pieterslaan 99 and/or Torhoutsesteenweg 66 in Ostend). A new setting and a personal approach (the managers themselves will guide you from a to z !) Thanks to our cooperation with the media (television and magazines) in Belgium and abroad, we remain, more than anyone, at the cutting edge of the very latest trends. Steps Magazine, Tendens and Reka Magazine have therefore regularly relied on us for information about the newest fashiontrends. Our many photoshoots and foreign assignments continuously keep us up in contact with the "movers and shakers" of the fashion-industry. And that in itself gives us an average headstart of up to 3 seasons ! After all, fashion is made a long time before it appears in the shops. But ... most important of all is YOUR look. Your appearance, hair and skintype, profession and lifestyle are by far the most important in finding a style that works for you !!! |

Reception, Styling, Colouranalysis, Jap. Facialmassage Inga has earned credits as a stylist and make-up artist through (inter)national catwalks, magazineshoots en televisionwork. Her conversation skills, and professionalism assure that your transformation will not only be a succes but it'll be a fun process as well ! Her "newest" service, Japanese Facial massage, has to be experienced to be believed. This ancient technique is not only extremely relaxing but also has an anti-aging effect and can easily be called a "natural lifting". Available in single sessions and as a package. Inga also gives make-up classes (fit for anyone!) and designs and makes magnificent juwellery.

Hairstyle, Clourspecialist, Hair- & scalp care As a former teacher in a hairdressing academy she has quite a few years of hands on experience behind her belt. Since she made the step to working with her sister and brother-in-law in Trendmakers, she has proven herself on an international level to be a talented hairstyle artist, colorist and party-hair-do-expert. She combines classical technical knowledge with an exceptional vision concerning the latest trends and styles. And her fun-loving character guarantees a great stay in the salon. |
You are always welcome Open Tuesday through Saturday With the exception of sundays and mondays (when we do other assignments), we will gladly receive you (with appointment) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Other days or hours can of course be arranged.
