The Glampelo Domain

The domain itself is charachterized by its two main elements : the terraces and the river. The terraces are divided into 5 tentterraces, a beachterrace (with badmintonfield), a kidsterrace (with sandbox and jeu de boules), een sunterrace (with relax-loungers), a garden-terrace, a fruittree terrace, a vegetable- and herbs terrace and a few terraces where nature is left to run its course (great fun for the kids).
On the Glampelo domain we have our very own river with crystalclear water. This is a shallow sideriver to the Alge. We have dug out a portion of the river to accomodate the swimmers. The water is after all crystalclear, refreshing and has a very slow current. During the winter months we even have our very own waterfall on the opposite easter egg hill, a wonderful sight !
During the early hours of the day, you can witness deer coming to drink from the water. These magnificent animals descend from the hill and enjoy the peasce and quiet just as much as we do, therefor we would appreciate it if you would not frighten them. But this doesn't mean that photographers with National-Geographic-ambitions have to suppress their desire to grab their zoomlenses.
On our lowest terrace you can enjoy the sun in the cooling atmosphere which is typical of a riverbank. And if it gets too hot you can go for a stroll in the shallow end of the river or enjoy an invigorating swim.

Events

You can rest assured that our events will always be of a high standard, wheather they're part of our weekly planning, our "specials" or even "made to order" events like birthdayparties.
As a team we have an enormous amount of experience with the organisation of all types of events.
In the past we were responsible for a.o. :

• several beautypageants
• the worlds first ever fashionshow on a plane : for Sky Europe on a flight from Brussels to Vienna
• workshops and courses for photographers, models, salespeople, etc
• direction and production of several tv-, movie- and videoprojects

Photographyholidays

A+Photo is a unique photographyholiday for all kinds of photographers.

Nature-lovers, architecture-enthusiasts, portrait-buffs, amateurs or pro's and even their (uninterested) partners, we cater for all !

All our excursions take into account the wishes and preferences of all our photographers.


The first "A+Photo" workshop for 2012 is planned for May 13th - 20th.

Price : 600€ all-in (except flights and extra consumptions outside of the meals).
Specials prices for ex-pats living in Portugal and attending one day without lodging are available upon request.
